Saw "Bosco" Thu Ya Aung is the program manager for Search for Common Ground (SFCG), an international NGO working to end violent conflict in over 30 countries worldwide. He is currently leading SFCG Myanmar's peace process work by supporting the project "Communicating for the future, building trust and confidence in the Myanmar Peace Process." This project involves dialogues sessions and a multimedia campaign to bridge community voices with peace architectures and negotiators. As well as being part of youth and peace movements since 2012, Bosco was a technical support team member of Union. He supports Myanmar's peace process with valuable and creative approaches to creating a civilian-led peace process. He is an expert on peacebuilding frameworks related to IR theories and comparative political analysis on democratic transition and hybrid regimes. He is the holder of B.A in English from Yadanarbon University, Myanmar, an M.A in international peace studies from the UN mandated University For Peace, Costa Rica, and an M.A in political sciences from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
