Bitna Kim is a project manager in the campaign team at thecitizens' alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR), the non-government organization located in Seoul, South Korea, promoting North Korean human rights domestically and internationally. In her role she researches various issues on human rights violation to North Koreans, collects primary sources to investigate such violations and engages in various advocacy programs. Before joining NKHR, she worked in the Korean Embassy in Serbia in economics and public diplomacy section for 2 years. She also interned at the Center for the National Interest, Washington D.C. in 2014. Bitna holds a double bachelor's degree in English language education and international relations from Seoul National University, South Korea, as well as a master's degree in international security from Paris School of International Studies (PSIA), Paris, France.
