Hyebin Bina Jeon is a Programme Officer at HURIDOCS (Human Rights Information and Documentation Systems), an international organisation based in Geneva that is dedicated to developing databases and tools for human rights information. In her role, she provides consultation and training on community-centered data modeling, user-friendly database configuration, and evidence-driven analysis for human rights defenders and organisations across the globe. With her passion for information technology in the context of human rights, Bina has previously worked at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, and the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea in Washington, D.C. Bina holds a master's degree from the Graduate Institute Geneva, with her thesis focusing on satellite technology for human rights documentation. Bina worked as a Program Intern at Salzburg Global Seminar in 2016.
