Babu Ram Poudel is a program manager for Pro Public, and in charge of the dialogue facilitation and mediation for strengthening peace and social harmony program. He joined this organization in 2003 and worked with various social, political, and governance issues, and since 2009, he has focused on peacebuilding activities. He has also been the deputy executive director of Pro Public since 2017. Babu Ram is interested in working for social change by ensuring peace and social harmony, education, and effective governance. His current project aims to connect people together from interfaith groups through social/community dialogue and mediation. He has also received several national and international training in peacebuilding and conflict transformation from Germany, USA and elsewhere. He has a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in sociology, and is also pursuing a second master's degree in conflict and peace.
