Aurelio leads the Programs portfolio at WISE, an initiative of Qatar Foundation. He oversees the WISE Prize for Education, which provides selected organizations with funding and capacity building to support the development of innovative products and projects that can address fundamental challenges in education; and the Edtech Accelerator, which offers tailored coaching to education technology ventures to enable growth and further impact on education outcomes. Aurelio also has experience working in the education nonprofit sector in Brazil, where he grew up. He studied Communications at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Urban and Social Policy at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs in New York.
