Asantha Samarajeewa Kalyananda is a communications planner, CEO of Third Shift Media, and a certified facilitator based in Sri Lanka. With over 15 years of experience in communications and marketing, he has collaborated with a diverse range of international and local brands, delivering award-winning media campaigns and strategies. Asantha has also served as a jury member for prestigious advertising award forums, evaluating creative work alongside global professionals. Recently, he launched the Climate Change Communications Hub, an initiative dedicated to using strategic communication approaches supporting to address the global climate crisis. His methodology integrates the latest tools and practices in facilitation, fostering meaningful conversations and collaborative solutions. Asantha is also the co-founder of Spark-InBox, an initiative aimed at collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to enhance gathering designs and program development. Spark-InBox also serves as a collaborative innovation hub, focused on creating methodologies that effectively communicate complex scientific and serious concepts to a variety of audiences. Asantha holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Peradeniya (Sri Lanka), an MBA from the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka), and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
