Arthur Steiner is the co-founder of New Silk Roads, a social impact agency with primary bases in Cairo, Tunis, and Amsterdam. He As a researcher and curator passionate about the role of the arts and digital tech in tackling 21st-century challenges, he collaborates with artists, technologists, impact investors, and philosophers to conduct research and development and pioneer new programs and art exhibitions around the world. . With a background in funding and philanthropy, Arthur serves as advisor for various organizations including Hartwig Art Foundation, Fondation Botnar, Climate and Land Use Alliance (CLUA), DOEN, UNESCO, Berggruen Institute, Opes Lcef, Moleskine Foundation and the Alliance for Socially Engaged Art. Previously, he led global grantmaking on contemporary art and culture at the Hivos Foundation. Arthur is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
