Annu Singh is a community, institution, and gender specialist and supports the training of community leaders, cadres, and panchayat functionaries of the National Rural Livelihood Mission system. Her role is to create self-reliant women cadres and enabling environment, for those in need, in most Naxal-affected states of India. Annu has more than 14 years of work experience in the development sector. She received Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellowship initiated by MoRD in 2012. She has shared her expertise at global platforms like Global Youth Forum-Bali-UNFPA, Danish Youth Council, Copenhagen, and other youth-led organizations. She was selected and designated Youth Ambassador by UNESCO and worked on various assignments related to young people. She has a Master's degree in Development Practices from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a doctorate in social work from the University of Lucknow.
