Anna Christi Suwardi is a lecturer at the School of Liberal Arts, Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand. She is a peace, women, and multicultural studies specialist. She is also an active member of the global DEEP Network. Anna's latest research and activism work focused on women affected by conflict in Aceh, Indonesia, and the deep South of Thailand and youth's multicultural practices in Thailand. Before becoming part of the Salzburg Asia Peace Innovators Forum in 2023, Anna had been an alumna of various international programs, including the Ewha Global Empowerment Program, U.S. Professional Fellowship on the US-Asia Pacific Think Tank Program, the Mahathir Global Peace School, the APSA-Asia Program, the Women in Southeast Asian Political Sciences, and the Peace and Public Diplomacy Course (PPDC). Anna has published her work in academic journals, book chapters, and online news commentaries. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in International Relations and completed her Ph.D. in ASEAN studies in 2023.
