Policy Fellow - Climate Adaptation and Resilience, London School of Economics, UK
Anna is a Policy Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute at LSE working on climate adaptation and resilience. She is Principle Investigator and Director of the NERC-funded £1.9 million ATTENUATE project which is developing adaptation investment framework for the UK. Anna leads LSE’s policy input to the Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance (2025–2027). The Alliance is a multi-sectoral partnership, focused on enhancing resilience to climate hazards across 15 countries. Anna is a member of the Alliance Leadership Team co-leads the Alliance Adaptation Governance Theme with Mercy Corps and Concern Worldwide. Anna is an Ambassador for UK based NGO Shade the UK and is developing research and policy expertise in extreme heat governance. Prior to joining LSE Anna was Head of Climate Leadership at Scottish sustainability charity Verture where she provided advice to the Scottish Government on climate adaptation and led major place based adaptation programmes across Scotland and Ireland.
