Ankita Singh Rathour is a project manager at the Nepal Peace Building Initiative (NPI), where she leads projects focused on human rights, community development, and peacebuilding. Her role involves addressing the challenges faced by marginalized communities, advocating for the rights of women, minority groups, and youth, and fostering community security. With over a decade of experience in human rights and women's rights advocacy, Ankita has played a crucial role in improving birth registration rates and driving successful community security interventions through government initiatives. Prior to her current role, she contributed to research and policy advocacy, particularly in gender-based violence and security. Ankita holds master's degrees in Conflict, Peace, and Development Studies, as well as Sociology, from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She has been recognized with the NOMA scholarship for her academic and professional achievements.
