Angelica (Gia) Querubin is the Founder of Weaving Ecosystems, a social enterprise that weaves community-based ecosystems of sustainable commerce in the local living economy. She is an advocate for sustainable living, conscious activism, and deep ecology. After a career in advertising and corporate marketing, she transitioned to development work in Palawan, Philippines, to champion initiatives that nurture biocultural diversity. In 2018, she founded Binhi Mindful Market to promote sustainable trade, food sovereignty, and mindful living, supporting grassroots artisans, Indigenous crafters, culture bearers, and local farmers. She is also currently the President of an environmental NGO, Saguda Palawan, Inc., representing the organization in the Protective Area Manage ment Board and Adjudication Board of Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park. Additionally, she is a mindfulness and movement facilitator with a strong focus on trauma-informed approaches.
