Andrzej is the CEO of Climate Strategies, where he leads global initiatives on fossil fuel transitions, just transitions, industrial innovation, climate-trade interactions, and broader system transformation. Since joining Climate Strategies in 2012, he has expanded its impact, doubling membership and quadrupling both its project portfolio and Secretariat team. Andrzej is known for fostering inclusive dialogues and building strong collaborations across diverse institutions. He previously served as a Cabinet member and climate adviser to the Polish Minister of Environment and was a senior delegate in UNFCCC and EU climate negotiations. His earlier roles include managing the Brussels office of the Center for Clean Air Policy and developing carbon business at HVB Bank in Germany. A skilled facilitator of global climate dialogues, Andrzej holds a master's degree in environmental management from the University of Warsaw, completed international courses at the UN University in Tokyo, and is a Fellow of both Salzburg Global and the German Marshall Fund.
