Anchalee Chuthaputti is a pharmacist and pharmacologist. She started her career as a researcher at the Medicinal Plant Research Institute, Department of Medical Sciences before joining the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (DTAM) where she served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Thai Traditional Medicine. She was responsible for international cooperation in traditional and alternative medicine between DTAM and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation, the World Health Organization, etc. She also served as the Directors of Technical and Planning Division and Institute of Thai-Chinese Medicine. She currently works as an advisor of DTAM and members of sub-committees on traditional medicine research, service, and products. She joins the team of Thai researchers in the ongoing multiregional project on WHO Evidence Review of Traditional Medicine Research Methods.
