Fatima Masse is a project manager for the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness. She joined the organization in 2012. She is interested in health systems, measuring quality indicators, and improving public health services in Mexico. Her projects include identifying the implications of out of pocket expenditure for chronic diseases, mapping health quality indicators in Mexico, identifying gaps of access to health services, and coordinating the competitiveness indexes at country and city level. She has previously worked on the design of a longitudinal social protection survey for Latin America and designing financial mechanisms to detonate private investment in renewable energy. She received an M.P.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in economics from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico.
