Amna Ahmed is a graduate student pursuing her master's degree on a Fulbright award at Koc University Istanbul, Turkey. She is interested in the impact of im/mobilities on outcomes for reimagining migration governance. As a New Voices Fellow, she hopes to contribute to spaces working on women, peace, and security to further highlight the gendered effects of migration and displacement. A New Jersey native, Amna graduated from Rutgers University where she majored in political science and human resource management with a minor in women, gender, and sexuality studies.
