Amanda Abrom is the Director of Global Schools Program at the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, where she leads a community of ~2,200 schools working to integrate Education for Sustainable Development into their curricula, training, and operations. In her role, she has led programatic initiatives for schools worldwide, focused on topics such as renewable energy, STEAM education, climate education, ecosystem restoration, and global citizenship, reaching over 300,000 students and 100,000 community members. She worked as an educator in the US, Chile, and Spain; in higher education and residence life; and as a Program Assistant for US Department of State-funded student exchange programs. She has worked on education initiatives with the Columbia Earth Institute, Education Cannot Wait Fund, and the UN Joint SDG Fund. She is a Fulbright Scholar, a Qatar Foundation WEL Fellow, an Aspen Future Leader, a NAAEE 30 Under 30, and a UNCTAD Youth Delegate.
