Ama Ofeibea Tetteh is founder and lead creative consultant at Chapter54, a consultancy based in Accra, focused on African creative economies. She currently also consults for Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) Lagos, Nigeria, as program manager for Àsìkò Art School. Her career portfolio is driven by a passion to harness the arts and creative sector to create opportunities and contribute to new narratives about the African continent. Having worked within creative and cultural industries for over two decades, Ama’s professional offering centers on deep understanding of cultural nuance and appreciation for the artistic as well as the operational. Ama previously worked as head of graphics and archive at the international architectural firm Adjaye Associates, UK, as researcher at Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy, UK, and as the West Africa arts program manager for British Council, Ghana. Having recently commenced a tenure at London School of Economics as a visiting Fellow and creative in residence, her practice continues to be fueled by curiosity, creativity, and connection. Ama has a background in graphics and communications, research, and program management as well as academic qualifications from Central St. Martins, Goldsmiths College, and SOAS in the UK.
