Born and raised in Las Vegas, Alexis Guzman graduated high school from Southeast Career and Technical Academy in 2022 in the Nursing Assistant Program. With her experience from high school as a registered CNA. Alexis started attending NSU as a first generation student. They are currently majoring in Psychology with a specialization in Mental Health, with minors in Counseling and Social Justice. She works for a non-competitive children's sports league as a soccer coach and ref. Where she has developed a passion to continue to mentor and inspire children. Upon her second year at NSU as a Junior she has been invited and accepted to attend the Salzburg Academy on Media & Global Change. In hopes to expand her understanding of the intersection between psychology, media, and social justice on a global scale.
