Communications Intern, Salzburg Global Seminar
Alexandra Alden is a Salzburg Global Communications and Public Affairs Impact Fellow. She is a musician and performing artist with a bachelor's degree in Jazz Music and multiple albums to her name. After graduating in 2018 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Alexandra was invited to become a judge on the television program 'X Factor' in her home-country Malta for two consecutive seasons. Besides becoming a public figure, she became known as an advocate for Women's Rights and the promotion of local Arts & Culture and Freedom of Speech in the Arts. She has won multiple awards for her cultural contributions as well as artistic work. In 2021, she was honoured with the "JCI Cultural Achievement" Award. Alexandra has toured extensively throughout Europe and has participated in notable showcase festivals, with several projects receiving support from the Arts Council Malta. She takes a great interest in the organisation of events, which also led her to take the position of chairwoman for the 2019 edition of the student performing arts festival "Stukafest". Understanding the role in which communications plays in the success of a project is key to Alexandra's pursuits as an Impact Fellow at SGS.
