Akanchhya Aryal is a South Asia HRE consultant at Amnesty International, Nepal. She has experience in the design, management, and implementation of peacebuilding and human rights projects, communitarian strategies, and consulting expertise at national and international levels. Over the past decade, she has worked extensively in the areas of program development & implementation, proposal writing, curriculum development, international collaboration, and monitoring & evaluation. She currently looks into Human Rights Education Program at Amnesty International South Asia Regional Office, mainly focusing on countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. She also serves as a Representative of Nepal for the Global Ecovillage Network Asia and Oceania (GENOA), which supports communities to transition to resilience. Akanchhya has a Postgraduate degree in Conflict, Peace, and Development Studies.
