Aiko Shimizu

Aiko Shimizu is the director of AI and workforce transformation at Microsoft and an adjunct Fellow at the Honolulu-based think tank Pacific Forum. Prior to joining Microsoft, Aiko held several roles in the private and public sectors across the United States, Japan, and Germany. She has also served as the head of Japan Public Policy at Twitter. Aiko received her bachelor’s degree with Honors in political science and international studies from the University of Chicago, US. She received her graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, US, and Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), US.
