Adriana Chavarria Flores

Adriana Flores is senior program and impact manager at Climate Strategies (CS) in London, UK, a not-for-profit research network that advances climate policy through meaningful interactions at the science-policy interface. In this role, she contributes to the organization's strategic development and growth, supports fundraising and partnership development, and provides intellectual leadership to key research and policy initiatives, including the JET Prosperity Post-Fossil Fuels project. She has previously led programs and projects spanning fossil fuels, just transitions, climate resilience, trade, industrial decarbonization, and transition indicators. Originally from Costa Rica, Adriana joined CS in 2020. Prior to moving to the UK, she worked across nongovernmental organizations, government, academia, and international organizations, advancing sustainable development and climate action in Latin America and beyond. She holds a master's degree in environment, politics and society from University College London, UK, where she focused on policy innovation to mobilize climate finance and support just transitions in developing countries.
