Adriana is a programme and impact manager and acting co-head of programme at Climate Strategies (CS). She leads the Oil and Gas Transitions (OGT) programme, which focuses on co-creating evidence-based pathways for just transitions out of oil and gas dependency. She also oversees a variety of projects aimed at advancing just transitions across different geographies and areas, including South-to-South Just Transitions, the UNFCCC Just Transition Work Programme, just resilience, trade, industrial decarbonization, and transition indicators. Her previous experience includes collaborations with multiple NGOs, governments, academia, and international organizations across Latin America, such as VIVA Idea, UNESCO, and the Central American Association for Aeronautics and Space. Adriana has an M.Sc. in Environment, Politics, and Society from University College London, where she focused her research on policy innovation to mobilize climate finance and facilitate just transitions in developing countries.
