Adi Binhas is the head of The Excellence Program and a senior lecturer at Beit-Berl College, Israel. Her research interests are multicultural policy, immigration, and education. She focuses on the dynamics between the official policy and different groups in Israel - Arabs, ultra-Orthodox, people from the USSR, and Ethiopia. She is interested in how institutions, especially educational institutions, adapt themselves to different groups, and how these groups feel when meeting the institutions: do they feel equal and have equal opportunities and the possibility to be promoted? The Excellence Program is an academic program of a multicultural group and Adi's vision is that the program will be diverse in terms of the content and the people who teach in it and that the students will feel that there is representation in the institution for all groups.
