Adam Nuñez is a senior journalism major at Emerson College and a staff writer at The Berkeley Beacon. His interests include social justice and accountability journalism, and international reporting, which was directly informed by his experience as a script editor with the international news podcast The Round Room. With a background in hip-hop music and advocacy, he has always enjoyed writing and telling stories, especially those centered on marginalized communities. Nuñez also works full time at ONESTOP needle exchange through the North Shore Health Project that works to supply safer use supplies, prevent opioid overdoses, and test for STIs in vulnerable populations.
