Charles Limb speaks at Session 547

Johns Hopkins professor on the challenges and rewards of putting artists and neuroscientists in a room together for a week

Surgeon, musician and professor at Johns Hopkins University Charles Limb has spent years examining what happens in musicians' brains when they improvise. Several of these musicians also traveled to Salzburg Global Seminar for Session 547 | The Neuroscience of Art: What are the Sources of Creativity and Innovation?, which Limb co-chaired.

On the final day of the session he spoke to Salzburg Global about the challenges and rewards of putting artists and neuroscientists in a room together for a week, and how how they can collaborate successfully.
