What You Will Be Doing

The Hong Kong Universities Internship is for students currently enrolled or recently graduated from a university in Hong Kong. It has been made possible thanks to the support of our generous donors.

As an integral part of our programs, your role will be key to their successful operation. You will be responsible for supporting their preparation, administration, and implementation. The team will rely on your organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

You will have unique opportunities to broaden your knowledge within our Pillars’ scope (Peace & Justice, Education, Culture, Health, and Finance & Governance).

This internship is also a springboard for relationship-building with thought-leaders and change-makers worldwide. Where possible, interns will be assigned projects directly connected to their specific skills and interests.

Duties Include:

  • Researching relevant program topics, partners, and participants, including compiling biographies
  • Preparing program materials before each program
  • Ensuring the smooth running of programs by providing event management and technical support (in sessions: recording lectures, controlling the sound system, managing the microphones, presentation visuals management, etc.)
  • Providing reliable operational support to the program team and the participants throughout the programs
  • Note-taking during online meetings and programs
  • Providing database support
  • Providing administrative support such as updating internal documents, printing, copying, and mailing

What We Offer

Although the position is not paid, we will provide the successful candidate with:

  • A return ticket for their country of origin
  • Excellent networking opportunities with the international participants of our programs

Start dates for the Hong Kong Universities Internships are available in:
