Communicating with clarity and purpose is essential for influencing systems and turning knowledge into action. In complex health and policy environments, effective communication is a core leadership skill.
This online workshop is part of Sciana’s activities for Network Fellows and focuses on communicating and writing for impact at systems level. Building on a previous in-person workshop with Sciana Fellows, the session offers practical tools to strengthen communication across diverse professional contexts.
The workshop is led by Jocalyn Clark, International Editor at The BMJ, Salzburg Global Fellow, and Sciana guest speaker. She introduces a five-step methodology for impactful communication and shares practical strategies applicable across formats including research articles, commentaries, op-eds, grant writing, social media, presentations, and podcasts.
The session also features reflections from Marc Augustin, Sciana Fellow and Professor at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Bochum (Germany), who shares insights from his own writing journey.
