Zoubeida R. Dagher is a professor of science education at the School of Education and a faculty fellow at the Center for Science, Ethics, and Public Policy, at the University of Delaware. She teaches undergraduate elementary and middle school science curriculum courses and doctoral courses in the educational leadership and learning sciences programs. She is the co-author/co-editor of two academic books and has published widely in science education journals. Recently she has served as president of the International History, Philosophy and Science Teaching Group [IHPST], and previously served as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the National Association for Research in Science Teaching [NARST]. She has also served on several editorial review boards. Her academic degrees include a B.S. in science education from the Lebanese American University, an M.A. in education from the American University of Beirut and a Ph.D. in science education from the University of Iowa.
