Yurdakul Yigitgüden is a consultant and advisor to several international companies and governmental institutions on energy economics, energy efficiency and renewable energy, Caspian geopolitics and investment climate in Turkey. From 1997-2003, he was the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. He successfully led the Caspian Energy Policy of Turkey and coordinated the progress of the East-West-Energy Corridor and the South-European Gas Ring with regional governments and other global players. He graduated as a mining engineer and holds doctorate degree from Aachen Technical University in Germany.
