YongJoo Rhee is an associate professor for the Department of Health Sciences at Dongduk Women's University, Seoul. Before joining the University in 2011, she worked as a research faculty member at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Northwestern University - Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, IL. Her research interest areas are end of life care, patient-reported outcomes and mental health issues (dementia, depression). YongJoo is interested in exploring health policy and system issues on end of life to promote dying at home, and finding a way to provide better quality of care for elderly patients, including medical adherence. She has recently worked on international comparison studies of locations of death, collaborating with colleagues from Europe and North America. YongJoo received an M.P.H. from Seoul National University and a Dr.P.H. from the University of Pittsburgh.
