Previously, at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), Yojiro launched the Public-Private Smart City Project and held key leadership roles, including Senior Manager of the Smart City Business Development Section and Director of the Public-Private Smart City Project. He is passionate about creating a society where people can live with hope and vitality. He aims to utilize technology and big data to visualize urban performance, as well as citizens' happiness and satisfaction. Additionally, he envisions establishing an environmentally friendly and sustainable system that enables governments to manage cities effectively. Yojiro is also dedicated to developing professionals and students through university lectures, engaging in international pro bono activities, and implementing Japan's first well-being measurement and urban function evaluation based on international standards to create social impact. He is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
