Yasumasa Yamamoto is an adjunct professor at Kyoto University and has extensive experience in the technology startup investment business, having been involved in it for over 10 years in the US and Japan. He is an expert in emerging technologies such as fintech, blockchain, and deep learning and serves as an advisor to various corporations. Yasumasa has previous work experience at Google and at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ in New York. He is a Scott M. Yasumasa is also a published author, having written a best-selling book on mega-tech trends in 2025, which has been translated internationally. He holds a Master of Science degree from Harvard University and a master's degree from the University of Tokyo.
