Werner Dreier is the founding director of _erinnern.at_ (National Socialism and the Holocaust: Memory and Present), an institution for in-service teacher training and development of learning and teaching material on behalf of the Austrian Ministry of Education. Since 2001 he has been the Austrian delegate in the educational working group of the International Task Force on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research and currently serves as the working group's chairman. A historian with a special interest in the history of antisemitism, national socialism and austrofaschism, he worked as a history teacher from 1984 to 2001. He holds a Magister and doctorate in history from the University of Innsbruck.
