Wendy Redshaw is chief digital information officer, retail banking digitech, at NatWest Group. As CDIO for the Retail Bank, Wendy's remit covers the breadth of digital and technology across Retail. Aligned to ensure focus on customer journeys and unlocking value across, Home Buying and Ownership, Everyday Banking, Short Term Borrowing, Digital Channels, New Customer Propositions, Shared Experience, and Physical Channels, the teams ensure a connected and holistic view of the Retail technology estate, driving digitalisation, re-use, innovation, and safety and simplification of our technology. Wendy joined the Royal Bank of Scotland in October 2018 having previously been the CIO for Collaborative Technology Solutions at Deutsche Bank, and a Member of the Supervisory Board for the Russia Technology Centre. Wendy has been involved in several successful FinTech startups, and numerous strategic business/technology digital programmes for top tier banks. She holds a Mathematics degree from Imperial College, and has a particular interest in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Sensory Acuity, Organisational Transformation, and Millennial Leadership. Wendy was named CIO of the Year at the Tech Leaders Awards in 2018, and received the Technology Leader of the Year from Women in Technology and Data.
