Viktoria Hasler is the deputy head of the National Parks, Nature conservation and Species Protection (CITES) division in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management. Her main fields of responsibility are the Austrian National Park Strategy and the coordination of "Nationalparks Austria", the representation/controllership for the federation in the NP boards, international relations and funding of major nature conservation projects on national and international levels. She holds a master's degree from the University of Salzburg in biology and earth sciences. She has organized a number of cooperative projects with IUCN (seminars, publications, conferences).
