Victoria Mars

Chairman Emerita, Salzburg Global; Former Director, Mars Incorporated

Victoria B. Mars is a fourth-generation member of the Mars family whose great-grandfather, Frank C. Mars, founded the company in 1911. She is a former Chairwoman and Director of the Mars board and continues to serve on the Remuneration and Talent Committee. During her 40 years of service, Victoria held diverse roles at the company. She designed and built the global Mars Ombudsman program, which, for more than 20 years, has provided Mars Associates at every level of the organization with a service that addresses workplace challenges in a neutral, confidential, and informal manner.  Victoria represents Mars on the Board of the Livelihoods Fund for Family Farming. In 2025, she joined the Board of the Philadelphia Ballet supporting their transformational journey and also became a Trustee of Natural Lands, a non-profit organization that saves open space, cares for nature, and connects people to the outdoors in eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Victoria is Chairman Emerita and serves on the board of the Salzburg Global Seminar based in Washington, D.C. and Salzburg, Austria. She is a former board member of Foxcroft School, her alma mater in Middleburg, Virginia, and chairwoman of the Center for Large Landscape Conservation in Bozeman, Montana.
