Vanessa Otto-Mentz is a partner at Deloitte and leads the Sustainability Practice of Deloitte Risk Advisory in the Netherlands. Her work is focused on reliable and trusted integrated performance management for organizations. Prior to Deloitte she led the strategy and sustainability function of Africa's largest short term insurer and helped to establish and grow the UNEP FI Principles for Sustainable Insurance. She is near to completing her Ph.D. with the support of Stephanie Bertels and Ralph Hamann focusing on the role of change agents in establishing new norms of behavior to facilitate organizational change with ESG performance.
