Tomomi Sayuda

Tomomi Sayuda is an experienced Experience Design Director and Design Researcher. She has over 10 years of experience in design fields, including exhibition and service design. Currently, she is working as a Design Researcher at DLX Design Lab at The University of Tokyo, Institute of Industrial Science, where she leads design research and citizen science projects. Tomomi has also worked as an Experience Design Director on public museum projects at GSM project Dubai, UAE, and as a consultant at FJORD London, providing digital service design for world-leading organizations. She has designed workshops for companies such as Microsoft and UX Cambridge. Tomomi's projects have been featured on the BBC, Channel 4, Frieze Art Fair, ICFF New York, and have received several awards, such as D&AD Award Jury on Digital Transformation category in 2021, Good Design Award in 2022, Japan Media Art Festival nomination in 2021, D&AD Future Impact shortlists in 2021, and Creative Review's best 6 young graduates in 2009. She holds a Master of Arts in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, UK.
