Tomofumi Fukamiya is a CEO at The Elements in Tokyo, Japan. He founded a company, The Elements, in 2023 and is currently working on the program "Inclusive Hub" with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to create startups that support the lives of people with disabilities through technology. Prior to starting the Elements, Tomofumi worked at Pixie Dust Technologies, a start-up company currently listed on NASDAQ and involved in the development of many new businesses, mainly for the elderly and disabled, including automatic wheelchairs, devices for dementia and sensory stimulation, communication devices for the deaf and hard of hearing, and technology to support mental health. Prior to that, he was with the global number one motor company, Nidec Corporation, where he learned Founder Nagamori's style of management, from the position of secretary. Tomofumi also served as a diplomat in India for three years after fifteen years of his dedication to promote the creation of new industries in the fields of education, human resources, medical care, industrial machinery, robots and drones at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Tokyo, Japan. He holds a B.A. in economics from Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan and an a MBA from EADA Business School & MIR from IE Business School, Madrid, Spain.
