Thomas Steiner is partner of Bearing Point, where he is responsible for risk management services for banks and insurance companies with a focus on Treasury Risk, Investment Risk, Risk Governance and Risk Systems & Data. In his role he supports clients in developing individual solutions that are consistent with their risk profile and cost / benefit considerations. Together with his team, he focuses on the conception of risk methodology and processes as well as their implementation in risk architectures. Main clients include a large number of the leading European commercial banks and promotional banks. Before joining BearingPoint, he worked as head of Product and Requirements Management at MEAG Munich ERGO Asset Management. The focus was on the requirements management of new products, market and credit risk methods, reporting and quality management. In addition, he worked for PwC in the Financial Services division with a focus on business valuation. He graduated from Regensburg University of Applied Sciences with a degree in business administration with a focus on banking and finance.
