Tejas Kulkarni

Tejas Kulkarni is a freshman student at Birla Institute of Technological Sciences Design School (BITSDES), Mumbai, India. Tejas’s interests span from typography, design research to publication design, and animation. His work strives to be anchored by human experience and be inclusive of the community around him. He is currently developing an Indic font to facilitate improved legibility. He has worked on how cultural narratives shape consumer behavior, from rebranding a local business to a speculative strategy for a global brand. His personal passion lies in film and film discourse, and how cinema assimilates into culture. Tejas is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in design.
