Takeshi Hidaka is a director at Obuse Town Innovation HUB Association Inc. in Obuse, Japan. He is also a regional coordinator at the Center for Social Innovation Initiatives at University of Nagano, Nagano, Japan and has worked on numerous projects aimed at revitalizing the local community. His ongoing projects include Obuse Mirai College, a collaborative project-incubation initiative conducted in partnership with University of Tokyo and NTT East, and Obuse Town's HR Dept., a platform that provides services to support human resource development at local enterprises. Prior to working in Obuse, Takeshi worked for Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC in Tokyo, Japan. He is a recipient of the Grew Bancroft Foundation scholarship, and now serves as the director of the Foundation. He holds a B.A. in cinema and media studies from Carleton College in Minnesota, USA.
