Taj Muhammad is lecturer in law for the Department of Law and Shariah at the University of Swat and is a published lawyer based in Swat, Pakistan. Before joining the University of Swat, Taj has worked in the Council of Islamic Ideology, Pakistan for a brief period of time as a research investigator. Taj is pursuing a Ph.D. in law from International Islamic University, Islamabad where he had been a visiting faculty member for a couple years. Taj's areas of interest include constitutional law, family law, public international law and Islamic jurisprudence. Taj has two research publications in his credit and a few of his research papers are waiting to be published. He has presented research papers at national and international conferences. He has also represented his law school in national and international moot competition during his undergraduate and graduate programs. Taj has received an LL.M. in international law as well as a B.A. and LL.B. (Hons) in Sharia and law from International Islamic University, Islamabad in 2017 and 2013 respectively.
