Susan Allen is manager of diversity and inclusion at the Open Society Foundations (OSF). She implements the global diversity and inclusion strategy, manages and provides support to the network of Inclusion Liaison Teams and affinity groups, and develops and leads global campaigns on issues with wide relevance across OSF, mainly gender, disability, and bias. Susan also provides advice and resources to colleagues around the network regarding diversity and inclusion and serves as a member of the Leadership Group on Inclusion, OSF's senior advisory council on diversity and inclusion. Susan joined OSF in 2010, serving a number of roles in the organization, including: special assistant to the global director of human resources, program coordinator in the executive office, and program associate with the Democracy Fund in U.S. programs. Prior to joining OSF, Susan worked at Community Catalyst, a national health advocacy organization, where she provided programmatic support on two national health advocacy campaigns for dental access and health equity, in addition to working on development for the organization. She received her BA in communications and legal studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and her MSc in management from the London School of Economics.
