Sophia is the SSA Regional Network Coordinator in GIZ- Connective Cities. She joined the project in 2019 and is interested in exploring sustainable approaches and strategies of addressing the urban challenges specifically in the management of land. She also seeks to network with urban practitioners in different sectors. The Connective Cities Community of Practice brings together urban practitioners to share good practices and design urban projects. Sophia previously worked in the fields of public health and integrated water resources management. She holds a bachelors in water and environmental engineering and masters in environmental planning and management.
