Solomiya Borshosh is the Executive Director of the Ukrainian Institute, a public institution for cultural diplomacy. Her experience lies at the intersection of international affairs, culture, and civil society. Thematically, she is interested in democracy, peacebuilding, rule of law, and media. Ms. Borshosh started her career as an auditor at PwC. In 2013, Ms. Borshosh co-founded Hromadske.ua, an independent media outlet. This marked the beginning of her engagement in pro-democracy projects. After Hromadske.ua, she joined the the Reanimation Package of Reforms, a CSO coalition for reforms in Ukraine. From 2017 to 2019 she worked as the Deputy Director of the major contemporary art institution in Ukraine, Art Arsenal. Since 2013, Solomiya has engaged - part or full time - in evaluation and consulting projects for UNDP, Sida, Danida, EED, and USAID. Solomiya has a master's degree in international relations from the War Studies Department, King's College London (the UK), and a master's degree in law and audit from Lviv National University (Ukraine). Since 2016, she is a fellow of the ACCA, a global professional body (the UK).
