Sok Samnang is the deputy director of the Communicable Disease Control Department, Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He joined the Ministry of Health in 2007. He is interested in innovative approaches and new ways of tackling long standing problems facing the the CDC Department in its early warning system development. His previous projects include the development of Hotline 115 with support from Skoll Global Health Threat Fund through InSTEDD ilab Southeast Asia. He finished his MSIT in biomedical and health informatics in Mahidol University in Thailand in 2014.
