Shinya Kawada is a senior manager at the office related to the Board of Directors, one of the leading global real estate developers and investment management companies, Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd, in Japan. Shinya has worked for Mitsubishi Estate for more than ten years, where his career has been mainly in the business management of domestic and overseas group companies, corporate legal affairs, and urban development including overseas development. He is highly specialized in urban planning and strategy. Shinya has previously worked as a deputy director in the Ministry of Defense and the Cabinet Office in Japan, specializing in areas of new legislation of security policy, intelligence service to police of economic and social reform after he passed an examination in Economics. He received a 'bachelor's degree in policy management from Keio University, and 'he's scheduled to enroll in a 'master's degree program at a business school in 2024. Shinya is a Salzburg Global Fellow since 2013.
