Shingo Takemoto is a board chairman at SOCIAL DESIGNERS FOR D. in Japan. He is a Deaf Japanese and previously worked in managing caregiving services, focusing on training systems and process improvements. Inspired by his Deaf daughter, he became interested in education for children with Deaf and hard of hearing. Shingo now organizes local events to create inclusive spaces for Deaf and hard of hearing children. His goal is to establish online education and after-school programs that promote communication and empower children to think and decide independently.
